Garage Sale 2010
The Garage Sale held this year on October 7, 8, & 9 for the benefit of BHTTNA earned $892.65. A huge thank you goes to Sondra Whitely who loaned us her carport and driveway for the location of our sale and to Gertrude Eddy, the garage sale guru of Burton Hill. With Sondra’s Volder Drive location and Gertrude’s know-how and hard work, our sale was guaranteed a success.
Others who were vital to getting the job done were:
Joanne Pare - worked three days helping with setting up the location and stayed around for all three days of the sale.
Adam Coleman, Matt Meier and Jack Rowe -- provided the muscle for heavy lifting of donated items and borrowed equipment.
Wanda Spriggs-- created her own collection site at her house and delivered a truck loads of items to the location.
Lydia Villamil -- not only helped with set up and selling, but brought two extra people to help us out.
Amanda Coleman and Tommy Wade – found time to give us a break by helping out during the sale.
Veterans of Foreign Wars, 5333 White Settlement Rd – very graciously loaned us the tables necessary for displaying items for sale..
AND--we thank everyone who donated the items that made this sale a success. We hope you are enjoying your clutter free homes!

Spring Cleanup 2008
A small but hard-working group turned out to participate with the City to spruce up the neighborhood by picking up debris along the streets and cleaning up some areas overgrown by weeds.
For their efforts, the City supplied participants with neat tee-shirts and some really good yard gloves.

December 2007
Santa actually came to our neighborhood and picked up letters from the children in person!!!
[What luck that Ralph Hines is our neighbor. Ralph is a close friend of a close friend of Santa's and was instrumental in helping Wanda Spriggs get the jolly old elf to visit our neighborhood.]

[From the Star Telegram Cheers & Jeers column July 2007] Cheers: To the Burton Hill Trinity Trails Neighborhood Association for putting U.S. flags along our street for July Fourth. It was wonderful to see them along our new street with the new sidewalks. Our street really looked nice.
